Highlights include wooden draw bridges, houseboats, bicycle filled streets and canals. Dam Square with Royal Palace and the war monument and then into the Red-Light district where you’ll see the Old church, the Nieuw Markt and the ladies of the red light district and the mannequins of the red light fashion district. The majority of the tour is spent riding along the Amstel River beyond the edge of town where we’ll pass by funky houseboats, rowing clubs and people fishing. Then we’ll show you one of the few remaining authentic windmills and visit an entertaining Dutch farmer at his cheese farm/clog factory, where he will demonstrate the traditional art of making wooden shoes.
