City Bike Tour
This year we are introducing a new and a bit shorter bike tour of Amsterdam, where we concentrate on the inner city.

After our historical introduction we take you around the centre of town. Highlights include wooden draw bridges, houseboats, bicycle filled streets (and canals), Museumsplein with the Rijks and Van Gogh museum, Dam Square with Royal Palace and the war monument and then into the Red-Light district where you'll see the Old church, Nieuw Market and the ladies of the red light district and the mannequins of the red light fashion district. We’ll also give you a run down on the coffeeshop scene and point out some night clubs and venues. In addition we’ll ride through the Vondel park where, weather permitting, we’ll toss around a frisbee and lounge in the grass for awhile. After that it’s along to the canal belt past the Anne Frank house and into the Jordaan district (the old working class part of town).
Our Bike Tour is not the least bit strenuous and is suitable for 13 years and above, as long as you can ride a bike and don't mind seeing and hearing about Amsterdam naughty side (Red light district prostitution and drugs)! The bike tour takes about 2,5 -3 hours in total. Join us for a fun and informative ride you'll be glad you decided to take!
If you're looking for a great time, a sense of orientation, a background on the city you are visiting and its history, a chance to make new friends and a chance to get in touch with your inner self, among other wonderful pleasures, this tour is definitely for you. Coming on Mike's Bike Tour of Amsterdam will make you a better person. It will make you stronger, more attractive, funnier, more popular and whatever else you may desire!
Cost: only €18, €16 for students and seniors (+65), (bike included in tour price) and €5 off if you have your own bike.

Duration: 2,5 - 3 hours
Weather: We provide rain gear - which can often be necessary in Amsterdam. (A note on the weather, if you come to town and it’s raining, you have two choices as we see it; either you sit bitching in your hotel room and don’t see anything, or you put a jacket on and come join us on the tour! Nobody has drowned yet!! But some have gone swimming).
We meet: on Kerkstraat # 123 (where our tour garage is located at).
Operates: Daily March through November at 4pm. No bike tours on Queensday 30/4,
RESERVATIONS NOT NECESSARY Just show up at our tour garage or shop where all tours will depart from. Large groups should however call ahead to warn us.
