Mike’s Bike Tours Amsterdam has been in operation since the last millennium. Starting with 40 bikes and open 7 months a year, we have expanded to almost 300 bikes, open year round, offering bike tours and bike rentals. We have 2 shops in the Centre of Amsterdam. Our newest shop is our tour meeting-point and bike rental shop close to Central Station and our second shop is a Bike Rental shop only and very close to the Leidseplein and Museumsplein. In both our shops we also sell a wide variety of bike accessories.
Our guides are a bunch of fun-loving freaks who have settled or were born in Amsterdam, having developed a real love for sharing this city with you, doing so with lots of facts and goofy opinions.
Mike’s Bike Tours Amsterdam offers three separate scheduled group sightseeing bike tours throughout the year. Mike’s Bike Tours Countryside Bike Tour, meeting every day from March through mid November. The tour goes into the countryside visiting sites like a windmill and a cheese farm/clog factory. Our Mike’s Bike Tours Amsterdam City Bike Tour meets 7 days a week year round. This bike tour stays in the center of town and highlights include wooden draw bridges, houseboats, bicycle filled streets (and canals), Jordaan, the Red-Light district and much more! We are also offering a 2 hour mini City bike tour of Amsterdam, 7 days a week, May through September at 3:00 pm and in October every Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
Mike’s bike tours also offer private bike tours on special request for people looking for a more personal and exclusive experience. Check out here
Biking is a most excellent way of exploring a City and will make you be able to see and experience so much more than you ever could walking around. Amsterdam is especially bike friendly and to really discover the hidden gems this city has to offer, one simply has to get on 2 wheels. So drop by our shop to join a tour or rent a bike.
This year we’re closed for our Winter holiday from the 21st of December through the 28th of December 2016. We will also be closed on New Year day the 1st of January and Kings Day the 27th of April 2017.
