Mini City Bike Tour Amsterdam
A short introduction to Amsterdam
Enjoy an alternative sightseeing experience of Amsterdam on our exciting 2-hour city bike tour of the dazzling Dutch capital. Follow a professional guide through the quaint canals and winding cobbled streets of the city to discover an eclectic selection of sights on and off the conventional tourists’ trail.
On this fantastic 2 hour bike tour we ride through the old city centre towards the Amstel river, where we stop on the Magere Brug (the Skinny Bridge). Here the guide will cover some of Amsterdam’s rich history and we’ll check out the beautiful houseboats. We then cruise along the famous Amsterdam canal belt and make a quick stop at the beautiful Amstelveld. We then continue riding along the canals and make a stop across the Anne Frank house and the nearby Westerkerk (the West Church). After that it’s a quick ride through the lovely Jordaan district (the old working class part of the city) before cycling to the quiet and quaint Prinsen Islands with it’s beautiful traditional warehouses and pretty white wooden draw bridges. We then ride along the harbour behind the train station and will then explore Oosterdok and harbour area near by our shop, showing you sites such as the Nemo Museum and the Scheepvaart Museum (the sailing museum) with its replica of the Dutch East Indies ship, the Amsterdam. In addition and time permitting we’ll swing by the Zoo before returning to our garage.
